Just for Kicks!

Puma Monsters Pack: Mecha King
What do you think? I know I found this post quite interesting. With Nike, Adidas, and Reebok all posting up on retros, I thought it was good to see something different from Puma. I could def see myself rocking these, and they're not for everyone that's for sure. Better than the Yeezy Louis Vutton kicks? I believe so. Probably a better price tag too.

Today I decided to spent some time with the Tran sisters, very fun and interesting. Their brother was all over the place and uncontrollable, pretty crazy. Instead of hooping I just decided to stay in and do homework so I could be more productive. Everything else aside, I think was just a chillin day. One more day, then the weekend; I just got hit up by See Eun so I already set aside some time for her. Pictures this weekend? More than believable. Catch you guys soon!

This Last Weekend

Well, I'm late according to some people's standards, I've been lagging. Oh well, shit happens sometimes. The weekend was pretty interesting. I went out and played DMC4 with Alex, and his lazy ass was in bed when I got to his house. Fucked around with that for awhile, then hit up Jesse's little going away party. Now I guess its justified that I had him in my phone as "Texas", hopefully he comes back soon. Then we surprised Melody while she was cutting apples...pretty random but it was her Lola's 92nd birthday the next day, so she was helping out mama. I love her, like no other. Then went to Mike's house and caught up with everyone while Steven was handling Catch Phrase and everybody was crackin up. We did the whole karaoke thing on Karaoke Revolution 2, and that was pretty chill. My camera died so I didn't get to take any more pictures and I still haven't charged the battery. Haha, fuck whatever. Got random phone calls about drama and whatnot. Handled my shit on Saturday and won both basketball games. My team is 4-0! Had a dope ass talk with Sonya, then went church and had to deal with some bullshit on Sunday. Yesterday I studied for the wrong test and got owned, and today...well class was cancelled because of snow. So here I am writing this because I've been lazy up until now. Check out what few photos I did have!

**Note: Someday Melody will probably find out I have this blog and kill me for all these pictures I put up. But, hopefully I marry her before that happens. LOL

END (for now.)

Foamz

So this is a release I have been anticipating for a long time now. Thing is I don't know if I will be able to pick them up, couple that with the $200 retail price tag...its pretty hard to get. Regardless probably one of the most desired shoes on my list of kicks to get. So now, I would like to present the "Eggplant" Foamposite 1's.

Time For the Fun Part!

So I didn't really mention what I did yesterday. Kind of getting tired, but whatever. I need to slow my role, it seems like I'm spending too much money on food. I think I've eaten out every single day of this week so far. Not good, not good at all. Well, yesterday Paul was in town to go do a shoot for Greg Oden's 21st birthday party. So Jessica came through and we all went to Hot Pot n Sushi and ate for a little bit. Then we talked and chilled for a little bit. After that I went to Alex's house and we went straight to Pacific where we would hoop in a 3 on 3 league. We ended up playing a Hawaiian team for the fucking longest time. It was best out of 3, except each game was to 21. That shit was tiring, regardless we ended up smashing those pineapples in the end in the third game.

Today I woke up and took Paul to Union Station so he could go back up to Seattle and do his school stuff. Then after I was supposed to be with Sonya and catch up/talk and grub. Except she didn't pick up and I ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings again, except this time with Ashley and Krizzia. Hella ella random if you ask me, considering I haven't seen either of them for months. The dopest part had to be when they came to our table and gave us like 10 free buffalo wings that we didn't order, so instinctively I put it aside and boxed it up as soon as I could. Free food just tastes better!

So now for the pics!

Food for thought.

Right after I published my post last night, I started thinking about some things. Barack Obama has the capacity to change the entire outlook the world has on this nation, and if that isn't power, I don't know what is. I was thinking about a few people in my life, what they represented and how they integrate themselves into my schedule. I seem to be demanding at times of people, but it's only because I expect the greatest from them. Things never quite turn out the way you want them to be, unless you handle everything without emotion. When dealing with your priorities, emotions can be fuel to the fire, or they can be preventative of your overall goal. So I'll let them cancel each other out, and not have emotions altogether.

Loyalty. That's a word that kept repeating in my head last night as I was trying to sleep. How loyal are you? Loyalty before dishonor is something that Jay-Z implanted in my mind; it also happens to be something that I live by. If you have shown your loyalty to me, you got mine. But there are certain things that can make it or break it. I've been shown that some people are too stubborn for their own good, so stubborn that helping them and assisting them is essentially useless. So I have taken the time to take these people out of my life. There is no point in putting yourself on the line when somebody is too stubborn to figure shit out even with your help. These people are ungrateful and wasting my time, so they're cut. I don't deal with bitchmade cats, handle yours, I'll handle mine.

This year is 2009, and in case you didn't know, let me drop some knowledge. This is the year of the grind, and if you're not in it to win it, best believe we're not going to be associated with each other. I'm done with people idling and doing nothing. I'm so jaded with everything, that I am only willing to include people who are goal oriented, driven, and decisive. This is how it should have been since ever since, but people get sidetracked too, right? Getting caught up with all sorts of things that I didn't need to.

Women? Naw, I don't does those. I am looking at something objectively, analyzing the content, and from there I shall figure everything I do. Everything I do in my life is planned, but some things you have to let happen on their own. So I'll do my part, and see where everything goes from there. Other than that, what else you need to know? Leave a comment and I'll hit you up!

One man, one vision, one future.

Today Barack Obama was sworn into the presidency as the 44th president of the United States. Being as stupid as I was, I didn't look at what time it was going to be aired and I slept right through it. Well, besides that I got to chit chat with some friends about plans and whatnot, and today ended up being a very spontaneous day. Something about today just felt right, like all the pain and suffering is going to end. It's a new day and a new era, one in which hope has been instilled upon the entire world. Maybe that's being overly optimistic, but I would like to see it that way. Minh came home yesterday, Aileen felt great about her Art Institute interview, Melody had her brother's birthday gift awaiting his arrival, and the guys were doing homework all while I slept. So seeing that I was unproductive yesterday, I wanted to take full advantage of today and document as much as I could considering this is a historical day. Let's just say that today, I felt a little fresher, my food tasted better, school wasn't that bad, and seeing people was better than ever. I'll shut up now and leave some pictures for you to see what I did. Enjoy!

I started my day off with Captain Crunch and listening to Chronic 2001, just felt right.

I felt good today, thus Dr. Feelgoods.

Beautiful day.

City college didn't seem so bad today.

I'm glad I had a car today. Haha.

I had a woman in her 40's tell me my shoes were cool, random right?

The sunset came at around 5:45, then things got busier.

To Wild Wings, where it was 50 cent wing night!

They were on Filipino time aka an hour late.

I'm a fatass, I know.

A drink for the man of the night.

Some things never change.

My brother from another mother.

Sammy P, a new recruit?

JR had his hands full, family man.

She couldn't resist.

She worked extra hard for tip tonight.

After, I caught up with these cats to chill for a quick sec.

Where we get learned-ed

See them reading, AMAAAAAAZING. Sike, they read all the time.

They'll both probably HATE me for putting these up, but whatever.
Snapped these real quick when they weren't looking x]

Then met up with Melody (already there) so we could talk. She was tweakin cause she wanted an empanada from Taco Bell.

This one is a couple days old. I'll probably die if she sees this, but just thought I'd post it cause she really made my week when I got to spend some time with her :]

Yessir, that's about it for now, I'll reflect on it tomorrow more after class. Got class at 8:30, financial accounting WHOOOOO!!!!

All this brought to you by me, Flava Klav!

The Beginning

This is my first official blog, just trying to get the hang of things and figure out how blogspot works. Included will be upcoming releases that I'm looking forward to as well as various thoughts and events that come up within my day to day life. Damn, I wish I could see Ube today, haha. Oh well, there's always next time.
